A little teaser for you!!!

Hey all don't worry I haven't forgotten you all! Things have been crazy with finals so I haven't had much time to get some of the things I have been working on up! So here is a little something for you guys! There will be more to come after finals and the move to Washington for the summer! So enjoy this adorable little teaser from a shoot I did yesterday!! :) 

Hollands Run

This morning I went to the Hope for Holland 5k Fundraiser! There was a great turn out. I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the support this morning! Here are some pictures that I captured on my little point and shoot, sorry they are not the best I didn't bring my Canon 60D this morning because I thought it might be a little heavy to bring on the run.

Hope for Holland 5k Fundraiser

This post today is one that is dear to my heart: 

I have been taking this family's pictures now for the past three years and they have been good friends of ours for just as many years. In fact Bryan and Aleta played a HUGE role in mine and my husbands relationship. We used to babysit their daughter Holland when she was very little and she has always been such an adorable, sweet spirit in this world!

May 2012 adorable little 3 year old Holland was diagnosed with a brain tumor since that time she has undergone 5 different brain surgeries. She has been so strong through all of them. Their road has been a tough one but through it all they have been nothing but positive and thankful for all the times that Holland has pulled through. Holland and her family still have a long road ahead of them and we can help in this small way.

This Saturday there is going to be a fundraiser held in Hollands honor in the form of a 5k run (you don't even have to run). This is to help show her that she is not alone and to help the family with all of the expensive hospital bills. PLEASE come help me in showing this adorable little girl and her family our support!

Event Details:

Online Registration $15 (+$2 service fee) and includes a shirt.

Day of Registration $20

Runners: Please arrive between 7:00 - 7:45 am to sign in and receive your numbers and shirts.

Starting gun will be fired at 8:00 am 

On-site registration will close at 7:45 am.

All runners to the starting line by 8:00 am.

Food, music, dancing and fun with special appearance by Cosmo the Cougar will welcome runners at the finish line!

*All proceeds from the run will go to Hollands Family.

Spring Family Pictures

After shooting the graduation pictures of my friends family, I had the awesome chance to take advantage of the beautiful spring day and got some family photos. Their little girl is SO cute! She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. I am so happy with how they turned out!

Graduation

Graduation bells will be ringing soon! How exciting! This past week I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of my beautiful friend and her family. She will be graduating at the end of this semester. I am so lucky to have had the chance to capture these pictures for them.
