Sorry all about my pictures! I have still been taking them everyday, I just have not had the time to put them up :( No worries though, I will get them up as soon as things calm down a little more once I get to Seattle! Between packing and cleaning to be ready for our flight in the morning its been crazy! Thanks for your patience though, I will get them up soon! Till then, Merry Christmas! :)

December 13 "Family"

Well today's topic is family, this is a sore topic for me this year because I have such a big family and this year will be the first year since I have been married that I will not see them at Christmas time. I have 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 3 sister-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law. On top of that, I have 1 adorable nephew and 1 adorable niece with another nephew on the way!! Oh and you can not forget my wonderful parents! Of course this does not include all the extended family and friends. 

On the plus side I will have the wonderful opportunity to spend time with my husbands wonderful family! His parents are so sweet I'm excited to see them and we will get the chance to see his 3 brothers, 2 sister-in-laws, possibly talk to his brother currently on his mission in New Zealand and we will get the chance to hang out with our adorable nephew. 

Anyway, the pictures that I took today are with my family at my brothers wedding; he had a photo booth so we took full advantage. Since I was home alone all day and my family is in California this picture shows some of my family, brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandpa and of course my husband! Family is what is most important to me and I will always be grateful for the blessing of having them in my life!

December 11th "Green"

Well, today was a very busy day! I had the chance to see my favorite little girl Alice, the daughter of my best friend, Alana, and while I was at Alana's I was able to capture some moments of Alice playing with a green pillow! I thought it was perfect! :) I just love this little girl! Enjoy!

December 9th "Something You're Reading"

Today my husband and I get the paper and today it snowed so something I am reading today is the paper! It just so happens it was covered with snow when I went out to get it from the front! I thought it would make a great picture for Christmas and for the topic today! :)

December 8th "Ornament(s)"

Today it snowed a little! It was so pretty! I was excited to get outside, so I took some of my favorite ornaments from our tree and put them all in a row on my front porch! Then after taking those pictures I decided I wanted nature in the picture so I hung them on a tree in the back! I love the look of the bright red against everything so I couldn't help but take four separate pictures! :) Here is what I have!! Enjoy!

December 6th "Shopping"

Okay, so today's topic is shopping. My thoughts for today were everywhere so my first picture was of a bunch of our Christmas shopping bags from Black Friday in front of my very generous neighbors door! Then I thought of another idea but I needed a person ... so I asked my neighbor Gracie and she was SUCH a good sport to say yes!!! :) I was so glad! Since I had just grabbed her from what she was doing she was conscious about how she would look, although she is a beautiful woman, I eased her mind by making it so that she was out of focus and the joy blocks were in focus! I think she is still beautiful even out of focus, don't you agree? So anyway this is what I came up with! Thank you Gracie again, you are AWESOME! This picture is of a happy shopper! Enjoy!

December 5th "Today's Temperature"

Well today's challenge seemed interesting at first and then I remembered that my wonderful husband has a Galileo thermometer.When the temperature changes the glass balls inside float up and down according to the temperature. I took the thermometer outside and decided I wanted some Christmas in the picture so That is why the snowman is in the background showing the date Dec. 5! Anyway here are the pictures for today!

P.S. The temperature is actually 48 degrees today not 68 degrees. The thermometer only goes to 64 degrees and I didn't want to sit outside that long so this is what we have! :) 

December 4th "Joyous"

Well, today I have been thinking a lot about what makes me joyous during the Christmas season! At first I thought about my family and then I thought about all the Christmas decorations that bring cheer and love. Then I realized that my family is not here so I can't take a picture of them and I have taken so many pictures of my tree that I had to think of something else. So then I thought what makes me happy on a cold day? Hot Cocoa with a peppermint stick! :) Yay! That sounded joyous to me! So I made myself a good cup of Hot Cocoa and used my favorite wood background and came up with this picture! :) Enjoy!

Well today I have been inside again because of homework and studying so I took a picture of my new red Christmas Joy blocks! I know that tomorrows challenge is joyous so Ill have to try something else for tomorrow! Till then here is today's picture!

December 2nd "Favorite Holiday Movie"

So today I was trying to think of something creative, to take a picture of my favorite Christmas movie, White Christmas, but I couldn't think of anything :( And I don't have the movie so I gave up and settled for my "fun" favorite movie Elf. Here is my picture of the day :)

December 1st "Your View Today"

So today I did a lot of things but the main part of my day was spent doing homework. After going to a bridal shower and in between the ward Christmas party I took this picture. I have been enjoying Christmas so much I just want to soak it all in, so my day was spent listening to music and doing homework in front of our Christmas Tree! That's the best way to do it and you know it! :)

The Photography Christmas Challenge

So last week I was looking for some sort of a challenge to do with photography and I came across this photography challenge. It starts on the 1st of December and goes through to the 31st ... I don't know how far I will get with it but I thought it would be fun to start it, what with finals coming up it will be a nice stress reliever! I will start tomorrow! :) Here is a picture of the challenge.

Baby Levi

Last week I had the chance to take pictures of one week old Levi. He is such a cute little man! I was able to take maternity pictures of his mommy and him! I am so glad I had the chance to take the after pictures! Enjoy! :)
